I've spoken to Tarka, trawled the web, but am none the wiser.

I need (want) new handguards.

I want the bendy ones that fasten on to the bar ends as well.

So I'll also need a fitting kit (I think)

What do you recommend, what fits, how good a fit, etc etc. All suggestions greatly appreciated.

I have an 1100GS

Cheers

Jamie

Tooned........they`re what I`ve spoken to VD about....and what I`ve got on my 1100`s.

I`m not really sure why VD is in such a dizzyfit....I thought I`d explained it well enough.

Although they`re in the Touracrap catalogue they`re actually Acerbis.

They do indeed need a fitting kit consisting of two piece handlebar clamps and the bar end fixing....but the kit comes with them.

They`re fitted before yer coffee`s gone cold....no hassle.

One of my sets is labelled with Touracrap stickers while the other set is labelled Acerbis.

Both of the fitting kits are identical...so I`m assuming if they`re cheaper from an Acerbis retailer then just get them from there as they`re going to fit.

Bert Harkins Racing is the main Acerbis chappie.

Try the 1150gs ones they fit are big and rap around and fix on the ends they are about £30 ? from BMW, or I think I have a pair of Acerbis ones with extra bits on for eerrr £20 ?

I'm not in SUCH a dizzyfit, just a normal standard one TVM :D .

But having trawled the acerbis site there are so many options, both for guards and fitting kits, so i wondered which was recommmended, as mine are shite.

But I'll try Bert Harkins, and it's all poo, you have a set of black acerbis with fittings going for a score, they may do.

Cheers all

VD

I.A.Poo - when you say "try the 1150 one's" does that mean that you are not sure whether they fit or not?
If Jamie, sorry, if his lordship is not forthcoming with the readies for the acerbis ones that you have, give us a pm, please. Not in a rush because Steptoes muffs are keeping me warm just now  But it is a hard decision as to when to take them off actually. They keep you so taosty. :D
