Hi

Which Hbar Muffs will fit over handguards fitted with wind-deflectors.
Mine are TTech but they seem a similar size to R1150GS

thanks
David

Only one that I know of, and that's the Tucano muffs, model 319 (if I remember correctly), and they fit over the standard R1150GS hand guards, I don't know if they will go over the TT guards. Send Steptoe a PM to see if he has any in stock, they really are the dogz bollox!!! :thumb

Just fitted a set of 319 muffs to my 1150 (thanks The Rover:)) - pretty sure that they won't fit over the handguard spoilers - you could always take the spoilers off :mmmm

they fit over the TT ones too :thumb

I had to take the TT spoilers off my standard guards to get the muffs on.

I have a set of Steptoes Tucano muffs :thumb

Blo0dy good they are too. Just using summer gloves again now :)

handle bar muffs

The way to go is if you have T. T. handgards just take off the spoilers, leave
the frames on and fit muffs over the top. I use Oxford muffs and they are aslightly tight fit over the frames but work well and keep the muffs away from
the brake lever. Got to go and see war of the worlds. ( wont be as good as Orsen well's version).

The mirrors are the problem

Thanks for the replies. I'll investigate Tucano

On closer inspection I realise the mirrors are the real obstruction. It's an R100GS. My original post suggested 1150GS

The tucano muffs fit straight on, regardless of mirrors, you don't have to remove them - Tucano HERE

Thanks for the info.

Tucano muffs do look the business but I was looking for something ... eh..cheaper - that I could hack about on my green-laner too.

Steptoe - have got any in stock please? I have asked on the muffs topic - but no reply there. I can't PM because it doesn't work....too technical forme. Anything more complex than a wheelbarrow and I'm snookered.
