Quick question, anybody have experience of which handlebar muffs fit an r1200 gsa lc with standard handguards and Touratech extensions fitted ?

i dont think any will fit with extensions, ive just fitted the turcano inside handguard type as supplied by nippy, fitting was not quite as i expected as the advert showed them fitted to a 1250 gs,but got them on and they are very good imo.

Only ones that really fit are the Wunderlich ones.
Even they aren’t good with any extensions on there.
Tbh - don’t need the extension if you fit the muff though.
Issue with the inside guards ones is that they end up with controls outside the muff.
More suited to scooters, etc

what do you mean controls ouside the muff? start button and mode switch and heated grip control are not needed when riding

Excellent info probably easier to unbolt the extensions for the winter to fit muffs

That’s exactly what I did with my TT extensions using Tucanos on my 1150GS.

I was using Tucano's with vented summer gloves, only very rarely switching the heated grips on - nothing more needed for me.

Now using Rukka lobster gloves.

Bought a set of Oxford Super Muffs , decent quality for £35 from J and S and they fit on my F800GSA with the standard handguards and Touratech extensions
