I know this is the wrong category, has anybody a set of 1150 handle bars, bent or any damage. Only after the heated grip part off the end do I can fit rentals

Geezer, are you asking for heated grip elements to attach to Renthal handle bars?

You should be able to move your existing parts, if you have them.

Get a piece of round aluminium bar stock and using a file, electric drill and a hacksaw and a tap and die set .......make some inserts.

Then glue them in with industrial epoxy- resin and voila!!!

Seriously though I did look at pulling the ones out of my standard bars but I thought this was easier!!!!!

Migsel used to make a set of 'ends' for this conversion, I used them a few years ago on a 650:thumb

Just spent a good few hours working on the bike, renthals fitted, just cut the end off the old bars, ground thenm down a bit and hammered them in, all solid and working fine now, the only pain in the arse was getting the wiring through the new bars that probably was the longest part! Made up it looks a lot better, just time for the mot now, everything is working fine, all serviced, few bits powder coated. It's lookin good....
