Handling imported data

Can you assist please, having imported favourites and routes via way of import data, the information is still there, I am sure in the past once data has been imported it was no longer in the import data folder. I have tried resetting and removing the battery for a few minutes.

Any ideas?

If I write route files in .gpx format directly to the SD card (under the \Garmin folder) then they remain on the card after importing. I think the same applies if Mapsource is used to write the route file to the Zumo. It's actually a useful feature because you can re-import the original routes if for any reason you b*gger the working copy.

on the zumo go to : where to / routes / edit route scroll down delete route....or where to / favourites / select a favourite / edit / scroll down delete
