Hi,

I need to introduce this by saying that I am really enjoying buying my bike from Cooper's at Tunbridge Wells. They are helpful, friendly, gave me two great test drives and would have provided an overnight test ride if I had wanted. So I am really looking forward to picking the bike up on Saturday. I learnt today that they are bundling a free topbox on top of free paniers, even though that is not in the deal.:bounce1

However, I was wondering if anyone else has had trouble contacting them by telephone? I tried on several occasions. I hate the fading ringing tone and I have never got through to the sales floor. Using the voice mail system has yet to result in someone calling me back. :(

In the end I called in personally. They were most helpful and told me the delivery date for my bike and stuff, but I shouldn't have to drive 20miles out of my way to do it.

Jason talked to me as I was leaving and said he was trying to get a receptionist like the car dealerships have. I think its a good idea. likely to be prettier than Jason as well.:drool He very helpfully gave me the email address of the chief exec of the holding company so I could complain. So I did.

If you have the same problem with Cooper's email stephen.edwards and let him know what you think. Hopefully it will help.

Still a top dealership:thumb

Regards,

Path.

Getting them to ring me is the problem -

I've only used them twice - last month for tyres, pads and switches £700+
- never rang to let me know the bike was ready.

Dropped the bike off yesterday at 8am so I would have thought I was first in - by 16:00 they hadn't phoned - I phoned them - they haven't finished the work (leaky gearbox) - going to be today hopefully £500 - £600!!

Bloody hell - its need a new clutch now £700 + thats £1400+ on a bike in 2 months thats not even had its 12thou service yet....maybe the MV wasnt that bad...???

Coopers

I was happy with them when I went in, telephoning was difficult.
Had a fault with my bike, not bought from them and older than their normal stuff; 2000 850GS. They wouldn't be able to look at it for a month:eek:
I've had other things done there and very happy.
I probably shouldn't have a newish BM, I'm not in the price bracket to have it worked on or replaced.
I've sold it now and replaced it with an airhead GS:D
Should now be able to do most of the work myself.
Pockets too shallow for new BMs:(
But, love the airheads anyway:D
