I 've been about this weekend looking at new RT's. After getting quotes from John Clarks of Dundee, I went over to Douglas Park, Glasgow to see what they would quote me. JC were quoting interest rates of 9.4% whereas Douglas Park, quoted 5.9%, made a big difference to amount to be paid.

They had a fresh in 2014 RT LE (fully loaded inc audio), with 1500 miles on it, immaculate condition, even had cylinder head covers, and frame bungs. All in £13500, I got a good px for mine as well. It made buying new a poor second choice.

I collect it next week :D

I did have a sit on the RS Sport, but being a lanky 6'5" I thought it a tad cramped. That and the price fully loaded with panniers I think is very expensive at iirc £14600.

See if they will throw in the tall seat as part of the deal, I am just under 6feet tall and have the standard seat in the high position.

I'm close to 6'3" and went with the high seat on my RT LC, the standard seat in high position felt a tad cramped for me

I collected the RT today, 187 miles each way. The only gripe I have is the seat is okay height wise but is a bit hard compared to my old 2013 model RT. I'm thinking of getting an AirHawk, as I was squirming before I'd gone 80 miles, and I just love the cool way the screen rises as you pull away but am a bit confused over the light switch for the pro lights, so many options.

Now I just have to figure out how the audio/bluetooth works, looks like a few hours in the garage and a long read LOL.
