Had a test ride on v rod and dyna wide glide today , the v rod went well but found riding position bit cramped could probably solve with different bar's / seat , the wide glide was spot on ride / performance / comfort just need to find some more cash down back of sofa :blast

There will be some amazing deals on second hand Dynas in the next few months as the summer draws to a close. It's certainly worth watching the main dealer sites as well as they follow the market down pretty rapidly and you'll get a warranty.

Alternatively all Dyna's are pretty much interchangeable. You can buy any second hand one and change it over time using aftermarket parts.

Ok,

Thanks I will keep eye out what are issues with bringing one back ?

its not to serious,I've sold a good few accross to the Uk,one guy had really big probs with the DVLA where the guy he was dealing with was insisting on an original bill of sale to prove vat had been payed, like it had an Irish reg etc so how could it be on the road if the vat hadnt been payed,2 cut a long story short the guys in Dublin HD were great and supplied all, after all the hassle the guy walked in and got a UK reg with any probs or proof of vat payaed,he just had the misfortune of calling an akward civil servant with time on his hands we reckoned,oh yes you also need a thing for the spedo to stick on for mph instead of kmph,if ya need anymore help ask,I know a guy that'll bring it to ya at right money aswell, but if you buy from a dealer you should be ok,I think there's a thread on importing from the EU to uk on this site somewhere

Cheap and 'Gumbo cheap' Are two totally different animals.

Ok, fish face.....so let's look at the example given.... A 2004 Dyna with 46,000 miles on it in Ireland €8,200 or £6,016 at today's rate......or I could supply you with a 2003 Dyna ( with proper suspension, brakes and tyres ) with only 10,000 (iish) miles for £5,500..... Now, the Irish one has 12 months warranty....do you reckon a 10,000 Harley needs a warranty..? (.unless you own it, obviously..)......... :dabone

Ok car crash face, someone could buy your bargain of the century 2003 dyna, that's undoubtedly been clocked and made up of several different types of harley, most of them stolen , crashed or both.
Without a warranty, as soon as you turn the key it catches fire and you then offer to buy it back for scrap value.

What's not to like ?;)

Rumbled...

.....and I'm not selling the Dyna... But that would be the price I someone wanted to buy it.... If you see what I mean..... :)
