Does anyone have one they would care to loan/rent to me at some point in the future?

I will be doing a cam swap in a while and don't really want to buy a new tool for it.

No rush, as I haven't bought the cam or any of the other bits yet.

I do have a "Jim's" Twin Cam bearing puller/installer tool in case anyone wants to swap for that - or would like to borrow.

The HDRCGB has a tool loan facility for members,it might be worth joining just to borrow the cam bearing tool.

I was a member for quite a few years up until about 5 years ago, and did previously use the tool loan facility. There just wasn't a whole lot going on around where I am, so I ended up letting my membership lapse.

I have now located a tool to use when I need it, but thanks for the suggestion. I may join again anyway.

Me too, but realised it was miss-sold to me as there appeared to be a lack of anyone who actually rode a bike, went to a few doos but virtually no one came on a bike, mostly Volvos, vans, campers and excuses why they had no bike. The talk centred around reasons to justify why they couldn’t come on a bike; yeah; doing a sick custom build bro, it’s not the riding season yet it’s still in storage etc but everyone dressed like they just got off a bike but had came in the car, what’s that all about🤷. I never rejoined when it ran out.

Not my experience at all Bob but it does seem to be the direction a lot of bike rallies are going, we are ageing out. even the No Cars,No Vans,No excuses Farmyard Party has a camper van section now :rolllaugh
