Sammy Miller Museum Ride-out

Had a great ride-out yesterday as a trial to the Sammy Miller Museum, all four Harleys were out. The A272 and A30 to Stockbridge were brilliant as was the A32 on the way back up. The bikes used just under a tankful for 170 miles. Great stopping point for tea and cake at the Grosvenor in Stockbridge, lunch at the Sammy Miller Museum then Loomies for a cup of tea. Weather held up brilliantly as we have come to expect!

Lo-rider seat

Just fitted a lo-rider seat to one of the bikes, 70mm lower but more importantly much narrower than the standard seat. I did 160 miles on it last week in one ride and while firmer than the plush standard seat it is nice to be down low out of the wind.

New for 2014 Police Road King

Got a preview of the new for 2014 Police Road King in Houston this week. New air filter, LED headlight, panniers and speedo swapped for rev counter, otherwise the same as ours, kept the 103 inch motor. Looks very cool. Come and see ours at the London Motorcycle Show, 14-16 Feb.

London Motorcycle Show

We had a brilliant time at the London Motorcycle Show at the weekend and thanks to all who came and said hello. It was non-stop, I talked myself hoarse and we even ran out of leaflets on the afternoon of the last day despite getting extra printed up.
Austin Vince of Mondo Enduro and Mondo Sahara fame came and gave us a look – he is great value, go and see him speak if you get a chance.

A quick plug for the Harley Weekends we are running - bookings are starting to come through. We are running two to coincide with a visit to the famous Goodwood Breakfast Club meetings – 3rd/4th May and 31stMay/1st June. Stickers!

Man came onto the stand at the London Motorcycle Show last week – said he’s not sure what kind of bikes we are riding out, turns out there are lots of people with BMWs, Yamahas and Hondas that are in the same boat. So we’ve put tank stickers on one of the bikes – we think they’re cool. Let us know what you think and we’ll either take them off or put them on the other bikes too!
