hi,

when 2 up i always get major harmonic vibration thats is easily audible, engine is at about 3-4k rmp and in 5th or 6th....

Anyone else get the same???

Cheers Rob.

Not noticed, however I mostly have prog rock music cranked up as loud as possible:guitarist

An Idea

I had a similar noise and I thought it came from the engine but on close inspection I found it was the right hand handlebar guard rubbung in the brake line on the inboard end.
When the changed the brake line it went away.

i had that too. bit of a buzzing at certain revs, bloody annoying.

when they tighten the brake line at the factory it will turn to the limit of the little stops on the master cylinder. that's just the right place to touch the handguard

cheers for the replies guys... ill have a look but i doubt its that as this is REALLY loud, my mate on the bike behind can hear it sometimes also.....

and everything i have checked is tight also, it appears to be from the LH side of the bike tho.

any extras on the front?
I have a wire mesh guard on my headlamp that produces a droning sound in a narrow band of speed around 115 kph

nope nothing extra except a larger screen and engine bars but the sound was there before...... have been trying to eliminate it by touching things as riding along but thats a bit tricky...... ill keep u updated if i find it!
