'Kin wouldn't fit though, so I needed some form of extension Tap holder........went into 3 tool shops in Colchester today and only one (Machine mart down by the bridge) had them, but only as part of a £40 set
Got the train back home and popped into Harwich Tool hire....they do sets of different sized T bar tap holders for 25 quid, but this was a one off (hopefully) job so I politely declined.
Nice chappy (the owner, Pete I believe his name is) went out back and rummaged through his draws and brought out their workshop T bar tap holders.....lent me two sizes to cover all, Free of charge, just took my mobile number and he's seen the bike outside before
Can't ask much better than that, so one good turn deserves another and I'm happy to recommend Harwich tool hire as a bunch of decent blokes
They keep most Draper kit in, a good range of safety wear (that's where I get my riding glasses from at stupid cheap prices, but all CE and fit for purpose) and they have piles of catalogues for ordering most kit that you could want
I'm nothing to do with them, just happy with the service and passing it on
