How easy are they to fit, and how do they look on the bike?

I guess I should have been more specific :blast

These are the questions I want to know really
1) Do they look OK, or do they look cheap and nasty?
2) How easy are they to fit?
3) How effective are they

V easy to fit and a cheap way of keeping crud off the engine. I have the same fitted BMW and Tiger. Makes a huge difference on th Tiger because exhausts are behind front wheel.

I've got number 2 fitted......

1.).. Looks..... No problem...

2. ) Fits in about 2 minutes... Clean inside of mudguard, peel off tape, stick on, drill 4 small holes, screw in screws... Even a non techy hamfisted bugger like me can do it !!:blast:blast

3.) Yeh it works... stops as much spray coming up onto the engine.. :thumb:thumb

Thanks, are you referring to the number 2 option (waits for some childish jokes :blast)

I know what you mean about the Tiger, it was a pain with the exhausts and radiator.

I had a fender extender fitted by the dealer before I collected the bike.

To completely protect the lower engine I also fitted a Mark Hooton Crud Catcher (available on this site and a VERY effective and well made piece of kit)

Maybe over kill but I'm happy

Have ordered a fender extender from Nippy's, went for the cheaper option :augie
Thought about the crud catcher but not my cup of tea aesthetically I'm afraid :nenau

Popped into Rainbow on saturday, man was that place busy.
 
I fitted no. 2 (the Wunderlich one) - I opted to rivet the extender with four small rivets as the self-tapping screw option didn't seem too clever and looked a bit ugly.

Bit pricey for a bit of plasic but works well and keeps most of rubbish off the front case.

Sorry but off topic, I know.

C-J - The Beowulf can looks great. I've been looking at them recently. Is that the Black Stainless option? Does it fit OK with the Vario panniers? - I was planning on visiting Beowulf next week to see a can in the flesh as I will be in Halifax, near where they are. If they're as nice close up as in your pic, I may have to get the credit card out.
