Anyone else getting emails from Williams BMW "Latest Offers from Williams Motorcycles" followed by an apology "Apology for the last Newsletter"?

Can they not make their mind up when the offers go on to, or are they paranoid about typos?

had a call out of the blue today from Dave at Williams to ask how my bike was

Do you think they're a bit desperate for sales/services? I've not heard from them since my prompt for the anual service which made me look for an independent dealer.

Its due its 12k now, so I'm off to RGM (Mitch Heal seems to have disappeared). Are there any other good independents in the area?

Funny that......Williams didnt even recognise me 2 weeks after buying my GSA from them, Dave walked right past me when i had to return for some warranty work!!!

Never been back since apart from warranty work (caused by themselves i might add!!!) Have never received a service reminder, courtesy call asking how the bikes going....absolutely no follow up after parting with the cash!

Always use Roy at RGM...Reliable, affordable, coffe and a chat and you can watch your bike being serviced.

Being new here, who are the good Indies I should be looking at using. Seems Williams aren't top of anyone's must visit list.

Williams really need to tighten their act up. I've had recalls scheduled by them and I turn up and then they say... 'Oh what are you doing here?'

The last time it was in fr a service I turned up at 8am and they lent me a bike. I came back at lunchtime and it still wasn't finished. They finally completed it by 16:30 and said that because I'd added a bash plate and a centech fuse panel that it really slowed them up

Then when I took the bike to BMW Linz in Austria last week they discovered that a load of updates and fixes that Williams said they had done were popping up on the computer as having not been done.

How did you get that photo of my bike? :D

In all seriousness all the lights I showed you were removed and a small centech fuse box was all that was left as it was sitting on top of the air box.

what's with the Ewan and Charley photo? did that slip in there by accident? I know how you worship those too :ymca

:D

see you on Tuesday?
