The wife and kids are disappearing to sunnier skies for a week and I find myself with a free weekend starting post work on Friday May 19th until the evening of Sunday May 21st. What to do?

Options:
1. MotoGP at Le Mans in France - fast bikes, decent plonk, good ride down
2. Lydden track day - motorbike only day at this Kent race circuit
3. Nurburgring - weekend blast to the Eiffel Mountains
4. Cornwall - learn to surf in Polzeath, maybe a bit of Rick Stein although the Blue Tomato in Polzeath is cracking
5. Scotland - too far for the weekend?
6. Wales - decent roads & scenery

All thoughts on a postcard pls plus any other volunteers?

The fast ferry from Holyhead to Dublin is £80 return but it's the 275mile 6hr trek from Ldn to Holyhead. Think its a might too far if I need to be back home by Sunday evening but cheers for the thought.
