Have you got a tight box?

My topbox has become all stiff / tight. It'll now stay open / expanded and is reluctant to go smaller. The expander bar moves about half way and then stops.

Any ideas? Is there a diagram of the box available anywhere?

Mine was a wee bit tight a while ago but it was grit and bits in the bottom of the box which was transfered behind the "moving parts" when I took the box off the bike and stored it on its side. A good shake followed by a hoover out seemed to cure it

Silicone spray (Mr Sheene) works wonders on all the slidey bits too

Ferchrissakes if I start getting the hoover and some Mr Sheen out then SWMBO will start thinking I'm about to do some housework .....
