Hawker Battery problem

OK here we go again, nice new battery to stop having to piss about getting the ABS to work, rush down the shed, whip off the tank, throw the old battery away!!!!!! Put in new shiny red thing and guess what the earth leads aint long enuff, joy & rapture. So does anyone know if ANYONE does a "thingy" to secure the earth leads at a 90 degree angle, a bit of mecano would be OK if my grandkids would let me into thier toy box, but lets have some serious answers from people who aint afraid of being recognised eh John!

I used an old bass door hinge, one half for each post, cut/trimmed/bent appropriately. Been on three years and no probs.

I seem to remember some have used copper piping flattened and bent to suit.

I just bent the original doofer to fit. Won't be using anything else so couldn't see the harm.
