Well, I’m asking myself that as sometimes that’s what I feel like I’m doing when I post something about the books here. Of course UKGSers wouldn't be the same without the mickey taking would it!? :augie But, this one is happening because quite a few of you guys have asked me to do this and I promised to spread the word. Here goes.

My first book Into Africa has just been released as an Enhanced e-book on Apple i-Tunes. What’s one of those? An e-book as in a Kindle but on Apple and full of colour photos (many of which haven’t been seen in public before), maps and video interview clips. You can find it here: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/book/into-africa/id516563691?mt=11

They are of course available as standard e-books on Amazon Kindle and you can find those here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/sam-manicom-Kindle-Store/s?ie=UTF8&rh=n:341689031,k:sam manicom&page=1

Of course, for those who prefer to have a travel tool, the paperback versions all double up as emergency loo paper and as excellent fire lighters! :)

If you are at the BMF this weekend you’ll find me on the Traveldri-Plus stand by the main grandstand. It’s lining up to be a great weekend methinks. All the GS stuff going on and all.
See you there I hope.
Cheers,
Sam

paper books for me please,im currently with you in cuzco:D

And what an amazing part of the world that is. Not that Birgit was too impressed with the local soup! Something about tripe with the grass still on that didn't go down well...:eek
Love to get back to that part of the world again sometime. The road down from Cuzco to Nazca sounds quite amazing.
I hope Distant Suns is going down better than Birgit's tripe!!! :augie
Cheers,
Sam

Will put "Into Africa" back on me read pile.

:beerjug:

Hi Mr K, good stuff. I hope it works the second time round. I often read books twice. I guess the first time I'm scooting through at a rate of knots because I want to see what happens next, but that means I miss bits. No worries, double the value then eh :thumb2

sam, without gushing to much i must say ive enjoyed all your books:thumb
