Hi all
I'm off to Spain in a few weeks. Can anyone advise........
Do I need to fit a headlamp beam deflector or is there an adjustment I need to do to the led headlamp on my GS?
If so is it mandatory as I do not intend to ride at night.
Thanks

I've never bothered, likewise, I never ride at night and never had any issues riding through tunnels.

Thanks both.
You may be able to help with some other questions then. All websites I've looked advise ref cars, but not bikes.
Do I need to carry spare bulbs, a high vis vest and a spare pair of glasses?
(Again, guess it depends on whether I am stopped).
Cheers

Have never used deflector on headlight but you should carry hi viz vest for rider and any passenger, spare bulbs and a warning triangle. I also carry spare reading glasses but that's my choice...

I'm surprised about the warning triangle. Where are you meant to keep it? Especially if you're a Spaniard going about your business without panniers or top box.

Never had spare bulbs with me in Spain or Hi Viz and I was stopped at checkpoints a few times over two years and never asked for either.

Perhaps you should check with AA or RAC for full requirements for motorcycling in Spain. I daresay that if you google your question there will be a suitable reply for your needs. All I can say is that if you have an 'off', a puncture or any other type of breakdown then you will be glad of hi viz and a triangle....
