Headlamp protection

Hello fellows, I have fitted my GSA with a most excellent headlight protector from GEESEXR. High quality item and fits well. With an MOT imminent the question now arises: has anyone experienced a negative response to this product from a tester?

No Dave, You'll be fine, Over the years, multiple bikes, and multiple headlight guards, never had it mentioned. Some even had "For off road use only" written on it.

Thank you Onahi. That will save me removing it. I have not fitted many extras to the 1200 GSA - but the lifting handle and sprung-loaded rubber footpegs have been a worthwhile investment and no mistake. Have a good riding summer.

Agree with the Spring loaded footpegs. Are your ones BMW ? My first set were exchanged unwarrenty.

Yes Onahi, BMW Motorrad. I had to dismantle one last year and give the pins a good rub down to remove a friction build-up. But I am pleased overall. Not cheap of course.

My 1250GSA was just MOT’d by my local dealer, genuine BMW headlight guard says “off-road use” on it, no issues with the ticket.
