I got a bit cheesed off getting flashed by oncoming cars at night when two up, so I adjusted headlight and couldn't see anything useful one up except ants crawling across the road!
Looking in Wunderlicht catalogue is an adjuster for about 50 euros. But based on a little screw thread adjuster.
So with a bit of thought I've made one from part of the existing and a stainless steel 'latch'.
Looks quite good, and is easily adjustable off or on the bike.
If anyone is interested i could make uo some more, dependant on interest for 15-20 pounds each.
Fitting time about 10 minutes.

Its a bit too small to see clearly in a picture, have a look at a K100RT or 1150GS, they've both got a white nylon 'lever' which this replicates but in stainless steel.
