Headlight guard

I purchased an unused aliexpress? mesh headlight guard from alistaira8, it has no fitting instructions and just want to check how it fits, it looks as though it lines up with the indicator mounts, I assume it goes outside of the plastic and under the indicator with a longer bolt needed. Is that correct?
Hopefully the link below will show the guard.

Mmmm never seen one fitted like that before, usually the bracket goes inside the frame, and is fitted to the headlight mounting point.(the torx bolt up and to the right of the indicator mounting one). However having no experience of these chinky ones i dont know if im speaking bollox or not.

I have fitted it this morning, looking at the cut out on the arms that goes over the the indicator front mounting locator it’s the only way that makes sense.

Ok, thats a first for me, ive never seen one like that before.

I’d to trim nub on indys to refit them. But yes slot downward on.
