Headlight protection

I install the X-PEL adhesive protector on all my bikes I've had and love it. www.xpel.com Don't know if they ship outside of the US or not but one could check.

Thanks for the advice Ken. There's a dealer across the border from me, not to far away. Going there would make a nice ride, if they let me into the country that is. I am not sure what the date is that Canadians will need a passport is to get into the old U.S. of A. is. :) (I don't have one. )

I was wondeing if the X-PEL adhesive protector faded or smoked-up with age and if can you take it off? (I would not think that it could be taken off, but you never know.)

It won't come off with out destroying it in the process.

The RT I had one on before the GS was on for three years with no deterioration at all.

BTW, ISFA a Canadian getting into the USA without a passport, it's all just speculative, no regulations are final. Anyway the one being proposed says no US citizen will be able to re-enter the US without a passport. It doesn't specifically address non-US citizens entering. Go figure.

My wife is an Albertan, we love western Canada!

Thanks for the infor Ken H.

I called a dealership in Washington state not to far away from me and they have the protector in stock for my bike. So I am going to head down and get one. :thumb

I drove down to Seattle yesterday and got the X-PEL adhesive protector put on the headlights. You can't even tell it's there. :thumb

They said it would be good for stones, it will not stop I large object. I didn't think it would.

You can also remove it, if you want.
