...replacement on an R1150O GS.Just wondering if its an easy job and doesn't take too long ? Any info most welcome

Doddle - 10 mins max. Take the screen and the silver 'deflector' thing off and all the mounting screws are exposed. Pull the connectors off the back first, 'cos they come out from the front.

Don't forget to prise the plastic headlight adjuster off as well, bottom right hand corner.....everyone does first time around!
