Just replacing the bars after an accident - as you all know, the heated grips come together at a single multiplug connector. Is there a special tool or something that can extract the connections from the plastic holder - I don't really want to cut through them if I can avoid it. Seems a stupid setup to me though:augie

I think someone told me before elsewhere when I was having wiring troubles on my R100S that there was a tool available

if its just the grips your taking off, the LHS is easy with a small squirt of WD40 up in the grip, the RHS (throttle) will be attached to the throttle tube, so a bit more care needed not to damage the plastic tube.
As colt says lift the grip with a flat blade screwdriver.
