heated grips

Hi. New to this site, just bought an 1100gs 98' . Which is best genuine bmw heated or aftermarket add ons.

Are the bmw easy to retrofit (just buy switch, and grips ??)

I personally find the OEM grips on my 1200 are not warm enough. The bars are standard diameter so any aftermarket grips will fit. My previous bike did 30K miles with Oxford Hot Grips.
