Heated Grips

My 02 650GS has developed a problem. The rocker switch for the heated grips has died, The pic is not of my bike but shows the switch in question the upper switch is the ABS on mine.
It will rock but has stopped switching on both left and right. I have removed it but it seems to be a sealed unit. This is not the weather for broken grips. Can anyone shed some light on the matter

It'll come apart. I had mine apart to clean and lube it as it had got some sand inside it and wasn't switching to one side.
Might be best to get a mulitimeter out before you start taking it apart though. No point taking it apart only to find the fuse has blown or there's a break in the wire.

It used to have a definate click on for low and hi but now just rocks and returns to centre
