My '19 plate 1250GSA had a stock seat that was bloody awful for me, I prefer a firm supportive seat rather than a soft one.
My previous Hexhead '08 GSA had a Sargent which I liked, so I bought a used Sargent riders seat for my WC '19 plate bike which happened to be heated. Sadly the heating element was broken in two places in the groin area where the bike had been strapped down on a ferry whilst under the previous owner (who denied it was faulty). I fixed the element myself using bootlace ferrules as crimps and it has been superb ever since.
Top tip: Never let a ferry crew strap down your bike if it has a heated seat, lift the seat first and ensure they strap it down across the frame beneath the seat instead.
