Heated Seats

Anybody got issues with their Heated seats?

Mine just arn't getting hot at all. I often had to switch them down from II to I on my old 2010RT. But despite asking the dealer to have a look, the seats on my LC just arn't getting warm.

The best answer the dealer came up with was that they are temperature sensitive, and will get hotter as the ambient temperature get's colder (basically fobbed of).

Im going to the Dealers tomorrow for exactly the same problem, pretty light but cold bum, will post when I have got back

I had the front seat on my 2012 RT changed under warranty as it packed in - the seat should be very hot on the high setting, even in winter. It was one of the features which sold the bike to me during a test ride in Feb 2012 despite the 4-6C temperatures on the way to Scarborouh and back.

No problems with my 2014 model. Seat gets so hot sometimes, I have to stand up!

I had same issue, CW's were brill, they replaced the seat (def had issue) and it turns out there is a software update for the heating controller (this was back in October ish). Since then the sets have been nice and warm! Tested on a -2 run from Somerset to Brum and back.

No problems with my 2014 model. Seat gets so hot sometimes, I have to stand up!

No issues, but mine gets really hot too!

Yes, mine are barely getting warm.grips excellent but both seats rubbish.2015 bike.

Come on guys get all these small niggles sorted out for me, before I get my bike in March

Been to the Dealers Ditto ++ for CW, they confirmed that there had been a SW update as seats were getting to hot, mine had most probably stopped as it had got to hot.

Anyway trip home bum warm (Not toast but comfortable) so all sorted
