Heated Vest

Just received my heated jkt kit from fleabay, and was wondering where to mount the plug? Doesn't look at all waterproof, and was wondering if any one has changed the design on theirs at all. Was thinky of a curly cable, and some sort of smaller connection, maybe like the one on the optimate.

Any ideas please???????
