This has probably come up before, but has anyone used innertubes in a tubeless tyre before?

It's pretty much standard practice on Supermotos - never had any problems with my CCM, on road, or racing with slicks.

I carry tubes as a precaution should a conventional tubeless repair not work when travelling off road in remote areas, but would only use as a last resort, it would make small repairs more difficult.
So yes it can be done although I believe excessive wear can occur through rubbing against the tube, for this reason coating it with talcum or chalk dust has been recommended.
