Heavy flywheel engine into a Paralever frame

Has anybody done it?

I've got a 78 100RS thats in several large parts waiting for restoration. I love the heavy flywheel engines so I'm going to fit the engine and gearbox in my 100PD this winter. I know the engine and box will got straight in but I'm not sure if the RS oil thermostat will clear the frame. Anybody know if it will?

HPN do a Thermostat is it the same sort of size as early BMW?

One of my mates has a Accident damaged r100r para frame lying in his garage Rob ,probably get it for you for pennies if you need a test bed for your project

When the PD bikes had their engine shifted accross to the right they had a flat put into the frame to clear the oil filter cover maybe you could do that if it didnt fit.
