Heel protection ideas

Hi Folks,

What have people used as frame heel protection over the years?

Im not wanting the plates as i dont think they go high enough for my feet, so was thinking of like some carbon tape of the like any suggestions?? Was thinking something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-CAR...108?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item33a1a1af8c

Want to try and protect my nice black frame.

Just get some helicopter tape. Doesn't alter the look of the bike and easy to replace if needed.

100mm would be a decent size me thinks

Yes that type of thing. 100mm is quite big, I usually just cover half the tube/the outside.

Ventureshield is what you need I seem to cover everything in it
