Hi,

has anyone had any experience of this jacket+jeans combination? I was looking at one this afternoon, and it seems to be a good replacement for my now very tired voyager jacket and jeans.

I especially liked the look of the vents in the cruise, and that the waterproof layer is built into the jacket, not built into the liner like the tuareg suit.

opinions please....

hi mate had my jacket 3yrs,it is and has been a great piece of kit! trousers to match are comfy and vents keep you cool in the hot weather,trousers however have leaked to a degree since day one (crutch). if buyin again id look to a different set of trousers,hope this helps mate

+1 for the Jacket been caight in all sort of weather never leaked,

can't comment on the trouser but I do use HG Oxan waterproof leather trousers and there great never leaked so far.

got the jacket and trousers...

been through some very very heavy rain (2 solid days of it once) and never had a leak in either

They could be a little cooler in the heat, but they keep you quite toasty in the cold... so you can't have everything

all in all, a blinding bit of kit

Great kit and I`ve had mine for 2 years and they have been fully waterproof and toasty in the winter.

Bit heavy for the really hot weather but great value and thoroughly recommended

Good kit, I have jacket and trousers and the trousers did leak very slightly last week on a long journey in the rain, I wasn't soaked all through just the crotch area. Might look to see if they'll change them actually?

Magic Kit

Since the BKS leathers went in for repair after 9yrs

I have had the latest cruise suit for several months Top notch gear
Riding around with the liner when it was cold it kept me toastie .
With the liners out yesterday and all the vents open in 21 degrees it was breathable and comfy.

As yet not fully wet tested but if its not the warranty will see it replaced Goretex 5yrs and rest 1yr guarantee I believe and sold as fully waterproof

They even made a shorter leg length trouser to fit Total came in a smidge under £500 Lots of nice design features included. The grey and black wont offend the Fashion Police either .

jacket is fantastic peice of kit, warm and waterproof in winter. cool enough in all but the hottest summer.
i had the short leg trousers for about 3 months and was not happy with the way the armour sat on my shins instead of at my knees.
seems to me if you have legs like a super model they are great but if you are anyway short buy different trousers i did
