HEL Brakelines GS1150

I am looking to upgrade my front brake lines to HEL, on checking thier site they list 1999-2002 non abs.
My bike is a 2003 non abs,(Hel are unable to advise me)
has anyone else changed?
I see they list a 4 brake line HARRISON SPEC! FOR 99-02 NON ABS
Come on Strptoe fill me in,

When I

spoke to them they said because of the different combinations of hoses fitted, even on models from the same year, they would need the old hoses to make replacements.

isn't that when they changed from the early brakes to the EVO brakes the bigger rotors held on with 5 torx headed bolts instead of the bobbins

If yours are the earlier brakes it should be okay to use them

go to www.realoem.com and put in the last 7 digits of your frame number that will tell you the manufacture date of the bike?

you could just as easily use Goodridge lines instead. and opt for stainless fittings. The price difference between those and Hel is just pennies.(49p) Goodrisge don't demand you send your old lines in.

I used to sell/supply HEL brake hose kits on here for UKGSers.
I found a fault in a lot of BMW hoses for that year so asked HEL to make them for me in a certain way. And they've listed it in my name How cool is that

Since found a similier fault in some 2003 bikes, but seeing as i no longer supply hoses due to all the minor changes made by BMW in model years causing so much grief, so i let someone else have all the fun .

You can get those aswell, just ask for cantbearsed spec and quote the year
