Hella Micro DE's - corrosion

[Slowdown]

The negative spade connection inside the housing on my micro DE's has formed such an amount of corrosion with the free spade connector that the light stopped working.

I've had to fabricate a male spade connector to get everything working again - I'm just wondering if this is a common problem or whether it's something to do with my wiring?

Yep - same thing happened to mine recently (I did have a little 'off' that may have helped it ion its way). Easily fixed with another earthing point

the plate is ally so it must be salt, have spare ones if you want some
