Hi Guys,

Wonder if you could give a scot a bit of a hand.onyack

Myself and a few of the mates are planning a trip to North Wales, (Snowdonia area) in May. One of the mates suggested that we use a place called the bikers retreat in Dolgellau, North Wales but seems a bit steep for the weekend. They will however throw in an accompanied tour of the surrounding area.

I was wondering if any of you guys new of a good hotel, that'll take bikers, in that area. Also we'll be there for three days a Friday, Sat & Sun, any suggestions on good routes for us to ride whilst in your fabulous country would be greatly appreciated. There will be a couple of biking photographers on the trip so looking for scenic routes.

About 15 of us stayed in the Travel Lodge just outside Caernarfon. It was about 3 miles outside the town IIRC ie just a 5 mins taxi ride to get to the town centre drinking spots.

You don't really need a guide around North Wales TBH.

Try doing a search you should find lots of info.

You could also try Youth Hostels which can work out quite cheap.

Betws -y- coed have a hostell called the Vagabond , cheap, good food and offroad parking, 5 min walk to the pub , they even have their own bar
