Hello Everyone. Just bought a 2003 R1150GS I have a decent sized workshop, a kettle and plenty of tools. It would be great to chat with some local folks to share knowledge and learn about these awesome machines.

Just down the road in Exmouth, I’ve moved on to a 1200R LC but a few of us have a meet at a different cafe every few weeks, keep an eye on the Southwest section.

Hello Al, thats amazing! When is the next meet? Had my first ride......bloody terrifying at first being wet, but what a machine, she's very well mannered and smooth as silk!
 
No set time between meet ups, I’m away for two weeks from Thursday but should come up in the Southwest section if anything is happening, we met up on Portland a couple of weeks back.

Portland is a good distance from me, but still a nice ride out on the coast road. Is there any other members near Exeter way on here?
 
Welcome to the forum.

Portland is only 60 miles from Exeter and the coast road is brilliant, but we have met at places west of Exeter too. Perhaps someone wants to sort a location and time for the next meet, as Orinoco or I have sorted the last few and tend to know the ones nearest us in West Dorset. Any volunteers?
 
How about Princetown, 12 or 13 October, three cafes to choose from. Probably 90/95 miles for you guys from Dorset?
