Helmet Storage

Could anyone help me find a nice tough box to store a crash helmet in. Something like a peli case would do, but they cost a fortune. So I am looking for something cheaper. It doesn't have to be waterproof.
Any ideas appreciated.

We use them at work.. But if you want something that will survive being dropped they don't.

I use one of these to store and transport both my Tour X and my Hornet. It'll also take an ordinary full face lid.

I've always been happy with the bag that most makers ship with a helmet.

A cheap & cheerful solution is a heavy duty, corrugated cardboard wine case. The sort of thing used for mail order by Laithwaites, M&S etc, rather than the thin ones seen in supermarkets. Use a strap to keep the lid closed.

Whatever you use, keeping the helmet away from light will make it last a bit longer.
