Just wired up Nippy Norman micro switch for DE Foglights.
Screwed everything back together and whenever i start the bike.. 4-5000rpm and won,t throttle back... Bike rev'n it's head off !!!
Checked all cables for a snag .. all o.k
Throttle seems to be working fine... Only thing i can think of is i may have put the fuel lines back on arse-ways as there are 2 of what seems like breather pipes coming from the fuel tank ( bottom r/h side) and i didn't mark them ..although have tried changing them and make's no difference.
Anyone any ideas ?

Throttle cable snagged on something somewhere, managed to do something similar when fitting the wibblers on mine, so that full lock caused the revs to rise sharply.

Somehow or another you have pulled or kinked the throttle cable.

Undo and fix.

Edit: Beaten to it.

Hope your right..just hate the thought of having to strip it all down again.

Throttle cables etc

Check the cables to the throtles carefully and if still appear ok, do the re-set for throttle as follows.

1. Switch engine on (do not start).

2. Twist throttle open fully and release - do this TWICE.

3. Switch engine off.

This will re-set throttle positions with electrical sensors.

Now start engine in normal way.

Just a thought!

You probably have one of the outer cable ends out of the seating. pull them in and out of the seatings and make sure they are properly seated.

PROBLEM SOLVED !!!
You where All Right ... The throttle cable was not seated corectly into one of the junction/connector thingies whatever you call it... Feel like an ass !!
Thanks everyone for all the feedback
