Help! Anyone near Motorworks, Huddersfield?

Ok, the sob story… I was supposed to be leaving for an overland trip to South Africa today. But my bike got stolen on Monday, then recovered on Wednesday. I thought I was in the clear but the punks burnt out the clutch. The bike is currently in bits at BMW Battersea, but the don’t have any Clutch Slave Cylinders – Germany can only send one over 1st week December!

Motorworks have the part. but can’t get it to BMW until Tuesday. I desperately need this part at BMW by Monday morning. I know 1 day does not sound like much but we are already a week late and visas are running out.

My big favour is to ask if anyone can pick this part up from Motorworks tomorrow morning and send it priority post to BMW Battersea. I have paid for the part already. I will cover post / costs and thrown in £30 sweetener.

Any takers?

I feel really bad asking such a big favour, but I’m in the s**t. Any help is really appreciated

Please let us know when everything is sorted regarding the slave cylinder. I'm not busy tomorrow and was thinking about the Staff's Show but could do a delivery if you wanted. I also know how to fit it they close early on a Saturday.

BTW, a burnt out clutch problem wouldn't make me look at the slave cylinder.

Haha, dastardly router problems now sorted, I'm back online.

All being well I'll pick up Russell's slave cylinder tomorrow morning, Motorworks are only about 20 mins from me and there's a Post Office open all day on Saturdays nearby too, so it'll be on it's way to BMW Battersea by Special Delivery by lunchtime.

I'll let you know as soon as it's posted.

They say things happen in threes, so this HAS to be the last thing. As Russ's partner in slime on this little jaunt, these delays are now really testing our ability to stay calm.
