Help - Bent my handlebars, cannot find any

Hi All. I have bent my handlebars in a low speed fall on the track to my house (steep downhill, sharp bend, deep fine dust and lack of concentration..Doh!!). Took it to BMW here in Malaga and they want 250 euros to fit new with fitting screws. The bare bar price is 133 euros, so I have been looking on the net for some, but cannot find specific bars for the F650GS. I am not a fixit type guy, so unless it says 'Fits F650GS', I have no idea. Anyone know where I can find some cheap but quality bars please? I just want standard bars and the screws to fit them. Thanks for any help you can give.

Bend my handlebars lifting my bike from one side, fell into a ditch lower than the ground. They are made of thin aluminium, get some motocross handle bars bud.

If its any consolation the GS800 bars are so strong when I clipped a wall the bottom yoke steering stops were damaged and the bars untouched. I can guess the cheapest repair is the bars.

I thought the specification was F800GS Ali Bars ..... F650GS Steel Bars.

There is a lot of companies in UK that do the straightening, doing there jiggy thing of forks, frames, and Bars.................... not sure about in your location but worth a internet search, poss cheaper than new Bars

I spoke to the local (Spanish) garage who fixes / services lots of the local guys bikes. He has suggested using OEM bars with a motocross brace. Any reasons NOT to go this route? As I said I am a novice at fixing, but I love riding (living in the mountains with 100Km ride every day to work and back). No sign of anywhere to straighten stuff here :-( Thanx again.

Cheapest option is probably to find a set of Renthall 'Fatbars' ... I think they're about £60.00 new - check for the right bend - don't bother replacing the clamp bolts, the old ones will be fine. Reinstalling the switchgear isn't hard, don't bother paying a dealer to do this for you. I'd personally think twice about a brace - if you manage to bend them again they'll only bend at the brace clamp! Proper Fatbars are immensely strong ...

I managed to get a Fatbar and yoke clamp for my KTM from the dreaded Ebay - cost me all of £27.00 - about 25% of list!
