Help!

My Clock wont stay set.

I set the clock, the : doesn't flash?? can't remember if it does or not?

if I just turn off the ignition and turn on again it's gone back to zero?

Anyone seen this or know of the problem, bikes an 01. no other issues RID works fine everything else displays as normal.

Cheers

Had the same probelm with mine and it turned out to be the first indication of the battery going. Second indication was the ABS not kicking in on a cold morning.

If you get the ABS problem then I'd suggest a new battery.

The only time my clock 'disappears' is when the battery is low, is the bike starting ok?

My clock did this ,It was a loose connection at one of the pins in the cable block feeding the RID everything else was ok. Ignition on ,clock ran ignition off clock reset to 0:00.

Ckeck fuse number 3 before you condemn the battery

ditto, had the same problem and it was the fuse. problems with ABS etc can be easily fixed by purchasing an optimate charger and keeping the batter charged, no need for expensive new battery.
