HELP: I have a rusty ring :-0

.... thankfully it is only the front ABS ring on my Honda Pan European and nothing any more serious (I get shafted so often at work that my other ring would never get a chance to 'rust' over!!)

anyway .. thing is .. im useless with the spanners and want to know how best to get rid of it

is it safe to use a soft wire brush to rub it away or will this feck the ABS up

It looks a sight and I want to sort it if I can

The rust shouldn't affect the performance of the ABS at all.

You could take a wire brush to it and then apply some thin Hammerite or similar.
