Help i think i have broken it

fitted migsel sat nav mount then took off tank to connect my garmin zumo
power cable red wire to ignation block as wanted a switched power then black wire to battery box as an earth put tank back on started the bike runs realy rough & collecter box glowing bright red ?
anybody got any ideas
took fuse out of garmin cable so that shoud be no effect anymore
no change
also fitted new battery

Check the throttle balance cable.

bike ok now
but why did the collector box glow

Burning fuel in it?

Bike miss-firing lets fuel out into the exhaust ..............
