HELP, maps V2

Just got a V2 and did a back up and restore and now - no maps!!!!
Went and did a restore and it seemed like it did it but still no maps available>
I seemed to have bricked it somehow?

Now itwont switch off !

Well I managed to reset it and get it started again so now back to square
1- no maps found. I need to re download the maps onto the card and I shouldbeable to do this . Has anyone done this ina similar situation? If the maps have been corupted I should get a free download?

If its all legal then Tomtom home should see you right.

Thats what your paying your money for.

well I cant seem to use home to down load my maps. No updates available is all it says, which is true cos its new.
Only gotit fri so I'll ask for refund and get another garmin. Shouldnt have this much trouble straight outa box.

If it is brand new have you done 'use latest map guarentee' via Tools on TT Home?

Email the support site.
I have had issues with downloads in the past and support site has helped.
Click help on TT Home.
