Help Needed.....in Sudbury

I am travelling from Germany to sell my car back in the UK. Dropping it off in Sudbury...Friday the 08 Sept..Yes my admin is up my Ar##

Here goes I need to get to Stansted from Sudbury on Friday afternoon sometime to catch a flight back here.....can any one help...?

Or how easy is it to get a train etc.....just dont want to chance missing the flight...

Why don't you choose a day when all the GSers are either travelling north or south

I think your best bet might be to take a local bus or taxi to Haverhill or Braintree. I'm certain that both towns run buses direct to Stanstead.

You can get the train from Sudbury to Marks Tey, change at Marks Tey for Braintree, then Bus from Braintree to Stanstead. Don't think the Sudbury - Marks Tey service is very frequent outside commuter times. Marks Tey to Braintree has a frequent service and takes about 15 mins. It's about 30 miles from Braintree to Stanstead.
