Help needed in trouser size or alteration

I need help in getting trousers.

No problem with a jacket, Rally 2 fits, Revit of road fits, Held Hakuna fits.

Problem is 44" 111cm waist inside leg 30" 76cm.

Tried

BMW 60 too long in the leg
Revit Dakar short fit ok but 40" waist
Held nearest to fit in waist and leg is 4XL too long in the leg.


I am hoping to do the Calum's road run so removeable liner was my plan.

Does anybody know if I bought a trouser where it could be altered.

According to the BMW sizing chart a BMW size 60 with a short leg = BMW size 29. However it may still be an inch or so too long for a 30" inside leg.
Any dealer can order these on a sale or return basis from the main warehouse.
I can vouch for the thick-set sizes in so far as I take a BMW size 26 for best fit on the knee armour.

My advice would be to ring CW in Dorchester and see whether they have a Santiago trouser in size 29 at around £160+shipping.

I thought the same
Size 29 would have worked but I was told BMW dont do the Santiago, Trailguard and Rally suit in 29.

They are pretty good at helping with advice, though they do not do BuMW clothing. They will also alter zips so that different makes of jacket and trousers can be zipped together, if you want them to be.

I would guess that BuMW may make one-off's if you pre-order (and possibly pre-pay) and / or have a look at some of the US sites, where there is a bigger market. For instance, Aerostich do 'Made to measure' trousers. Go to a tailor and get yourself measured properly, first.

CW had some of this obsolete suit on eBay recently - give them a call

The Trailguard comes in size 29 according to the 2009 clothing brochure - sorry no part numbers for you.
Rally not available in short leg - "portly" men do not ride GS's and HP2's apparently.

Revit do a size 29, possibly even Frank Thomas (I'll wash my mouth out later)as do other companies. There is also custom-made as mentioned by others.

Had a good hunt yesterday, I was being fussy by wanting the brown and orange. Revit have an altering service and are looking onto converting a pair of Dakar trousers for me.
Calling CW today.
