help needed

I'm making a home pc, got new sata hdd and new gfx card and a new 22"ws screen.
The problem is I need to install vista but I'm not getting a signal to my monitor(which is dvi) no vga output off the gfx card. what's the best way to install the operating system onto the hdd?

You should at least get the bios screen
If you dont get that your not installing anything

suggest you look at your hardware to get the bios screen up

do you have any other VGA ports?? on mobo for example?

you will need to have the drivers installed for the divx to work.. so you will def need a VGA port of some description to make the install..

buy a cheap VGA card if there is not an on board VGA port
