HELP! Problem with Mapsource and City Navigator

Please help!

I recently installed and unlocked Garmin City Navigator 2009, which was working OK - but everytime I opened Mapsource I was prompted to unlock GCN 2008 - which I had installed, but never got an unlock code for.

I got fed up of this prompt and therefore uninstalled the 2008 program.

I now can't open Mapsource - I get this prompt -

'There is a problem with the Garmin City Navigator 2008 Installation. Please reinstall Garmin City Navigator 2008 and start Mapsource again'.

I can't reinstall 2008 because I no longer have the disk.

Is there an easy fix? Or do I have to uninstall everything and start again?

... I gave up and reinstalled everything.

Works perfectly now, without the unwanted prompts ... the re-install seems to have ironed out a few other glitches too
